360 000 unités programmées pour 2026 – Le Jeune Indépendant

The Minister of Housing, Mohamed Tarek Belaribi, presented yesterday the housing program for 2026, which provides for the construction of 360,000 units in all formats. The plan is accompanied by an urban planning and public facilities program, with significant budgetary investments to strengthen the housing supply and develop infrastructure across the country.

Before the finance and budget committee of the National People’s Assembly (APN), the minister declared that 360,000 housing units of all types will be built over the next year. This program includes in particular 300,000 rental-purchase housing units (AADL), 20,000 aid in the context of social housing developments, 10,000 public rental housing units (LPL) and 30,000 rural housing units.

The budgetary allocations planned for this program amount to 296.3 billion DA in commitment authorizations and 488.9 billion DA in payment credits, Mr. Belaribi said during his hearing, supervised by Brahim Boughali, president of the APN.

In addition to this program, the year 2026 will see the construction of a total of more than 1,037,000 housing units, all formulas combined, including approximately 162,800 LPL units, 179,000 assisted promotional housing units (LPA), 200,000 AADL housing units, 553 public promotional housing units (LPP), 323,000 rural housing units and 170,800 housing units. self-built as part of social housing developments.

The minister also detailed the town planning and development programs, with an envelope of 100 billion DA in commitment authorizations and 41.2 billion DA in payment credits for the development of land bases, particularly in urban centers and public housing programs.

Regarding public facilities, 430 structures will be built for the benefit of integrated neighborhoods and urban centers. An additional envelope of 14.5 billion DA in commitment authorizations and 36.34 billion DA in payment credits was devoted to completing the development work of the new towns.
