Prime Minister Sifi Ghrieb held a working meeting dedicated to monitoring the implementation of investment contracts concluded within the framework of the 4th edition of the Intra-African Trade Fair (IATF 2025), organized in Algiers from September 4 to 10.
During this meeting, which took place in the presence of several economic operators and representatives of the national companies concerned, Ghrieb listened to exhaustive presentations presented by the participants, which focused on the nature of the contracts signed with African partners, and on the progress of the process of materializing the projects resulting from this major continental economic event.
Business representatives and economic operators also submitted their concerns and proposals concerning ways to strengthen State support for investment efforts, according to a press release from the Prime Minister’s services, stressing the importance of this support to accelerate the pace of economic development and consolidate the Algerian presence in the African space, the press release added.
Reassuringly, Ghrieb recalled the constant commitments of the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, to encourage national investment and consolidate strategic partnerships linking Algeria to its partners on the African continent. In accordance with the directions of the President of the Republic, the Prime Minister reaffirmed the government’s commitment to promoting the spirit of economic initiative and establishing a climate conducive to growth and innovation, to contribute to the diversification of the national economy and the strengthening of Algeria’s economic positioning in its African environment. The President’s orientations are part of a global vision aimed at ensuring balanced and sustainable development.
