Launch of a freight transport service between Algeria and Spain

The shipping company Madar Maritime Company (MMC), a subsidiary of Madar Holding, announced this Thursday, November 6, the opening of a new freight transport service between Algeria and Spain.
In a press release, the company specifies that this service concerns “the transport of trailers, road complexes and various goods, from and to the ports of Oran, Alicante and Almería”.
With this new activity, MMC is expanding its maritime services. The company underlines that this offer “reinforces our commitment to supporting our partners and customers in their logistical needs, by guaranteeing reliability, safety and efficiency at each crossing”. The Romantika ship, already used for passenger transport, will now also be used for freight. The company recalls that “Romantika is not only a travel ship, but also a key player in maritime and economic development between the two shores of the Mediterranean”. Madar Maritime Company thus confirms its desire to position itself as a mixed transport operator, “now serving freight and passenger transport”.
