BREAKING: IDF troops operating in Gaza have received a casket from the Red Cross believed to contain the body of an Israeli hostage.

The casket, handed over by Hamas in southern Gaza, was transferred to Israeli forces for inspection. A military rabbi will soon lead a brief ceremony, during which the casket will be draped in the national flag.

The remains will be transported to the Abu Kabir Forensic Institute in Tel Aviv for official identification.
