The Minister of Youth, in charge of the Higher Youth Council, Mustapha Hidaoui, announced, the day before yesterday Saturday in Blida, the rehabilitation and renovation of more than 600 youth establishments across the national territory, put back into service on the occasion of the launch of the new 2025/2026 activity season.
In a statement to the press, at the end of a working visit to the wilaya of Blida, during which he officially kicked off the 2025/2026 youth establishment activity season from the Beni Merad youth center, the minister specified that more than 600 establishments were the subject of rehabilitation and renovation operations before being put back into service.
This approach is part of efforts to promote youth spaces and strengthen their role in developing skills and creativity, he added.
He also stressed that this season, the preparation of which began “a year ago”, was marked by the establishment of a new vision of animation within youth establishments, aimed at attracting a greater number of young people, under the slogan “Strengthening the attractiveness of youth establishments to better prepare and structure Algerian youth”.
