Police have opened an investigation following a stabbing incident in Lod, in which a man was stabbed on the street by an unidentified suspect who fled the scene.

Officers from the Lod Police Station are conducting operational searches and have secured the area after receiving the initial report. The victim, a man in his 30s, was evacuated in serious condition (according to medical sources) to Assaf Harofeh Medical Center.

Police units are collecting evidence and examining the circumstances of the incident, including the background and motive.
