🇻🇪🇻🇪⁉️🇺🇸 — Unofficial conversations between the Donald Trump administration and Nicolás Maduro revealed that Maduro privately offered to resign, but only after a transition period of two to three years and with mediation from the Brazilian government.

The White House rejected the offer for being too slow, according to the New York Times. Trump would no longer be in office and Diosdado Cabello, Maduro’s right-hand man, would take over.
