The Minister of the Interior, Local Authorities and Transport, Saïd Sayoud, carried out, after approval of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, a partial movement in the body of wilaya general inspectors, directors of regulation and public affairs, and directors of local administration, as well as delegated directors of regulation, general affairs and local administration to the administrative districts, indicated the day before yesterday Monday a press release from the ministry.
This movement aims to “consolidate the pace of development and ensure the rigorous application of decisions taken for this purpose, while reinforcing the desire to inject greater dynamism into local action and to give a strong impetus to the development process across the different wilayas of the country,” specifies the press release.
The Ministry of the Interior affirmed that the promotions which took place under this movement “consecrate the principle of access of young executives to positions of responsibility at the level of local authorities, with a view to improving administrative performance and ensuring a better and more efficient public service for the benefit of the citizen”.
Concerning the wilaya general inspectors, the press release mentions “the promotion of six executives, the transfer of eight others, the retirement of four executives, and the end of functions of two executives”.
Concerning the directors of regulation and general affairs, “two executives were promoted and five others were transferred”.
Concerning the directors of local administration, the movement included “the promotion of six executives, the transfer of nine others, the retirement of two executives, and the end of functions of one executive”.
For the delegated directors of regulation, general affairs and local administration to the administrative districts, “five executives were promoted”, concludes the press release.
