President Erdoğan, Ukrainian president meet in Ankara


President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan met Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Ankara on Wednesday, welcoming him to the presidential complex for a working visit focused on bilateral cooperation and regional security.

Erdoğan greeted Zelenskyy at the Presidential Complex, where the two leaders posed for photos in front of the Turkish and Ukrainian flags before beginning their talks.

The meeting included Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan, intelligence chief Ibrahim Kalın, and Akif Çağatay Kılıç, the president’s chief adviser on foreign policy and security.

The two leaders will later attend a working dinner and hold a joint news conference.
