Coming out of Algeria’s convincing victory against Saudi Arabia (2-0), Rayan Aït-Nouri was particularly satisfied with the collective performance and the state of mind displayed by the Greens. The left back, once again solid and involved in both offensive and defensive phases, delivered a strong message a few weeks before CAN 2025.
“It was a very good match, the conditions were perfect. We gave our best in front of the Algerian supporters. We hope to continue like this and reproduce the same performances at the CAN,” he declared in the mixed zone. For the Manchester City player, the victory owes nothing to chance: it reflects a determined, focused and fully invested team. Aït-Nouri was keen to point out that, for him and for his teammates, each match with the national team has a particular value:
“It was a friendly match, but for us there are no friendly matches. As we could see, our team was good, everyone was happy and everyone had fun. » The defender also insisted on the importance of the collective, an essential point of the current dynamic:
