An IDF unit in eastern Rafah eliminated five terrorists who surfaced from a tunnel inside Israeli-controlled territory in southern Gaza.

According to the military, Nahal Brigade troops identified the group climbing out of the tunnel and moving toward the soldiers in a way that created an immediate threat. Ground forces then directed an Air Force strike, which killed all five terrorists.
