MC Oran andES Setif Entente sportive Sétifienne, more commonly called the Entente de Sétif or simply the ESS, is an Algerian multi-sports club whose most famous section practices football. Despite this draw, Spanish coach Juan Carlos Garrido praised the performance of his players. “We were the best and delivered a quality performance. Unfortunately, we missed the last touch, and some refereeing decisions were not fair,” he said in a press statement.

Following this draw, MC Oran now has 21 points and misses the opportunity to temporarily take the lead in the championship, while ES Sétif climbs to 12 points, retaining its 12th place.
