The Minister of Energy and Renewable Energies Adjel Mouad went to Djelfa last Wednesday to carry out a working and inspection visit. As soon as he arrived, he began his day by addressing the deputies: “You insisted that I visit your wilaya, well, here I am,” while calling each of the deputies present by their first name.
Only two points were scheduled. The first took place in the conference room of the wilaya which saw its reception capacity reduced by half. Certainly, it should be more airy but it will never be able to contain all the representatives of the company and the invited executives.
Moreover, recently since the departure of the head of the Wali’s Cabinet, promoted as head of Daïra de Béchar, things have been uncertain. At the speed at which this situation is evolving, there will be a rupture between the State and society. It would be wise to recall the eternal temporary worker for this rather sensitive position.
This in no way means that the current official is not capable. As a reminder, this position must be occupied by a local official.
That said in passing that the current one is apparently doing ”just-just”. This is one of the approaches which explains the current break between the State and the rest. We will return to this in more detail in our next editions.
In the proceedings room, the debate was initiated with the deputies especially and the minister. The deputies’ requests oscillated between blackouts in certain regions and above all a populist request not to cut off electricity to poor families.
The minister was almost outraged by this request. He will remind you that the Sonelgaz Group is a citizen so it must not be weakened. Several speakers and at their head the director of agricultural services who, for those who know how to listen, provide clarifications. Others have made proposals, such as training centers for staff which will be dedicated to solar power plants, explaining that for simple functions it should be avoided that workers are boosted by the parents of senior managers. In Ain Oussera the minister insisted on delivery times. If everything goes well we will have plenty of electricity to light up our homeland and certain brother, friendly or partner countries.
What do the people want? Light and heat. Both of these elements are provided by energy. In our country, there are several sources of energy. It is a divine gift. Moreover, several proverbs and common sayings reflect this: “The sun is the poor man’s burnous, when the day rises we will see better.” And many other sayings. Lately the endless struggles across the world for the new world order revolve around different sources of energy. Whether they are polluting or non-polluting fossils (renewable energies).
So, ultimately, Algeria is well endowed with natural resources and is at the forefront. Its commitments with friendly countries for the supply of energy, whether fossil or gaseous fuels or even the cleanest green hydrogens. This segment can and must be used to better negotiate while being sovereign. These achievements were bequeathed to us by the chouhada.
