The Minister of Health highlights the State’s efforts to promote the health system in the wilayas of the South and the Hauts-Plateaux

The Minister of Health, Mohamed Seddik Ait Messaoudene, highlighted, Thursday in Algiers, the State’s efforts to promote the national health system, particularly in the wilayas of the South and the Hauts-Plateaux.
During a plenary at the National People’s Assembly (APN), devoted to oral questions, Mr. Ait Messaoudene affirmed that the sector “gave priority, in the program of field visits, to the wilayas of the South, to later include the wilayas of Hauts-
Plateaux, as part of a reinforced policy aimed at promoting the health system and improving public service throughout the national territory. The minister stressed that these field visits aim to remedy the shortcomings observed in health establishments, while “determining priorities” based on the needs and concerns of citizens, emphasizing the need to strengthen health structures in the South by assigning specialists, as well as to promote medical training and improve services intended for the inhabitants of these regions.
