Improve professional skills.
The Ministry of National Solidarity, Family and the Status of Women has concluded an agreement with the General Directorate of National Security (DGSN), which aims to improve the knowledge and professional skills of National Security agents, particularly in the field of social services. This was stated in a press release from the ministry this Sunday.
As part of strengthening this partnership, Minister Soraya Mouloudji supervised, yesterday, at the National Training Center for Specialized Personnel of Birkhadem in Algiers, the signing ceremony of the training agreement. This agreement, which concerns social care for the benefit of directors of cultural and recreational centers, directors of host institutions and their assistants, all dependent on the DGSN, will be “led by specialized teachers and supervisors” from specialized training centers and their annexes, we learn from the press release.
In her speech, the minister affirmed that this agreement will make it possible to guarantee “specialized and qualifying” training, as well as the “renewal of knowledge and acquired knowledge” in different social areas, via “national specialized training centers”, covering areas such as “social mediation, social assistance and specialized education”.
“This agreement is part of the commitment to the major issues defined by the political leadership of the country, in particular by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, who places investment in human capital as a major priority,” the minister stressed.
In this sense, the minister explained that the ratification of the said convention constitutes a “real opportunity to strengthen professional capacities and acquire new skills” in the field of social care, through the organization of “training programs supervised by the three national specialized training centers” placed under the supervision of the Ministry concerned, and for the attention of the actors mentioned above.
The minister also clarified that training coordination projects are not limited to “one-off programs”, but constitute “sustainable” courses. According to the same manager, this strengthens the culture of effective partnership and reflects collective awareness of the importance of training, as an “essential lever” for developing skills and professional performance, while supporting current transformations in various areas.
“This type of training program contributes to implementing the social policy of the DGSN and guaranteeing optimal management of the social and professional concerns of the members of this security corps,” insisted Soraya Mouloudji.
The minister also declared that the Algerian State is striving to implement “a comprehensive policy of care and social protection for all vulnerable categories of society”, whether on the “social or economic” level, in order to promote, according to her, “their autonomy and their participation in the economic development of the country”. Ultimately, Soraya Mouloudji stressed that her department actively contributes to training, ensuring, in her own words, specialized and qualified support to guarantee “quality care”.
