IDF: Following the report regarding the stabbing attack near the community of Ateret, in which a terrorist stabbed IDF soldiers and was subsequently eliminated earlier today (Tuesday) — Surveillance cameras positioned for the defense of the community identified a suspect who came from the area of Bayt Rima to the community of Ateret. IDF soldiers were dispatched to the scene and approached him to conduct a security check. During the security check, the terrorist stabbed two soldiers. The soldiers responded with fire and eliminated the terrorist.

As a result of the attack, two IDF soldiers were lightly injured and were evacuated to the hospital to receive medical treatment. Their families have been notified.
