Putin’s talks with Witkoff and Kushner in the Kremlin ended after five hours, with no compromise reached
Putin’s aide Yuri Ushakov summed up the meeting, saying that “no compromises have been found so far, and a meeting between the Russian and U.S. leaders is not planned at this moment.”
According to him, “the specific wording of the U.S. peace plan was not discussed at Putin’s meeting with Witkoff.” Moscow received four additional documents beyond Trump’s original peace plan, Ushakov said.
The talks also touched on the “future of economic cooperation between Russia and the United States.”
Ushakov declined to provide further details, noting that both sides agreed not to disclose the substance of the negotiations.
