HEARTBREAKING – WATCH: Hostage Families Release Heartbreaking New Tunnel Footag…

Newly released photos and clips show Hersh Goldberg-Polin, Eden Yerushalmi, Ori Danino, Alex Lobanov, Carmel Gat and Almog Sarusi inside the Hamas tunnel in Rafah where they were held for months before being executed. They are seen talking, hugging, even laughing and comforting each other in the suffocating underground space. 

The material, recovered by the IDF in Gaza and shared today by the Hostages and Missing Families Forum, follows earlier footage of the same six lighting Hanukkah candles in the tunnel, singing through tears as Hersh likens their situation to Jews in Nazi Germany.  These images shatter Hamas’s propaganda and underline that the hostages were alive together for months and could have been rescued. 

The families call the clips “heart-rending and deeply human,” stressing that they were “kidnapped alive, survived alive, and should have returned alive.”  An IDF investigation previously found the six were murdered by gunfire in a Tel Sultan tunnel in Rafah, with their bodies recovered by troops shortly afterward. 

By releasing the footage, the families say they want the world to see both the cruelty of Hamas and the strength and unity of their loved ones underground, while demanding real accountability and renewed pressure to bring the remaining hostages home from Gaza’s tunnels.
