Australian police are still investigating why the duo travelled to Davao, Philippines a month before carrying out the attack at Bondi.

After the shooting, improvised explosive devices (IEDs) and two homemade ISIS flags were found in the perpetrators’ vehicle, with one of them draped over the windscreen.
