BREAKING: IDF Strikes Hezbollah Rocket Launch Sites in Southern Lebanon, Citing Ceasefire Violations
The Israel Defense Forces confirmed a fresh wave of airstrikes in southern Lebanon, targeting multiple rocket launch sites operated by Hezbollah.
According to Lebanese media, the strikes hit areas near the towns of Tebna and Nmairiyeh. The IDF said the launchers were actively positioned in civilian zones and were being used by Hezbollah operatives in recent activity.
In addition to the launch sites, several buildings and pieces of infrastructure linked to the terror group were destroyed. The military stressed that the presence and use of these rocket launchers constitute a direct violation of the ceasefire understandings between Israel and Lebanon.
Israeli officials say the strikes were carried out to prevent imminent threats and to enforce the terms of the ceasefire, warning that continued violations will be met with further action.
