🇸🇦🇱🇧 – Lebanese authorities have reportedly arrested a person who presented himself as ‘Saudi Prince Abu Omar’ and deceived senior Lebanese politicians by claiming he could influence political decisions in exchange for financial benefits.
Among those deceived, Lebanese MP Fuad Makhzoumi reportedly transferred approximately $500,000 to the suspect in return for promises to secure Saudi support for his bid for the premiership and to pressure MPs to nominate him.
