Border guards engage Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in Sumy Oblast, saboteurs retreat

A border patrol had to engage a Russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in Sumy Oblast on 13 December, forcing the Russians to retreat.

Quote: “Yesterday, a border patrol detected several members of an enemy sabotage and reconnaissance group moving from the territory of the aggressor country. The soldiers opened fire on the saboteurs, and combat ensued.

To reinforce the area, reserves from the SBGSU and the Defence Forces were sent to the scene, and artillery and mortar crews were engaged. 

As a result of the battle, the occupiers retreated, and enemy losses are being ascertained.”
