2025 Snapshot: Palestinian Terror in Judea & Samaria
Twenty Israelis were killed in terror attacks in 2025, down from 34 in 2024 and 41 in 2023. The year saw roughly 60 attacks, including stabbings, rammings, and shootings, compared to about 250 the year before. Most incidents involved knives or vehicles, with fewer firearm attacks.
Security officials attribute the sharp decline to sustained operations by the Israel Defense Forces in northern Judea & Samaria, including the takeover of key refugee camps, the dismantling of terror battalions, a steep drop in wanted suspects, from around 200 to just dozens, and full operational freedom for Israeli security forces.
