To kick things off lets start the page with an effort post. Maduro was a friend of the ANC, they openly supported eachother for years, and upon his capture / arrest / surrender (whichever you like) his cronies jumped on Russia Today with some ANC cadres to bemoan the situation.
The ANC developed warm relations with Venezuela all the way back during the Chávez era (post 1994). They’ve consistently aligned with Maduro’s government at the UN and they use the same browned, third worldist rhetoric to undermine Western civilization purely for the sake of doing so whenever possible.
The list of solidarity between the Maduro government and the ANC goes on and on ad nauseam but the point I’d like to highlight for the current atmosphere is that the ANC-cronies are all shaking in their boots. The veneer of invincibility has faded away and their hostile relationship with the Trump administration has set a perfect pretext for a similar regime change in SA.
