The Pakistani Ministry of Information says that conclusive evidence points towards these attacks having been carried out by ‘Khawarij (extremists) on behalf of their Afghan-based leadership and handlers’, including the Pakistani Taliban (TTP) and Islamic State Khorasan Province (ISKP).
