🇧🇬🇷🇺🇨🇾🇱🇧 – A Bulgarian court has refused Lebanon’s extradition request for Igor Grechushkin, a dual Russian-Cypriot citizen wanted in connection with the vessel carrying ammonium nitrate at the center of the 2020 Beirut Port explosion that killed 218 people.
The court emphasized that it did not receive sufficient guarantees from Lebanon that Grechushkin would not be executed.
Grechushkin was arrested in September by Bulgarian Border Police.
