Omar Omsen’s case will simply deferred to the Sharia courts of the Syrian regime (strange – thought it was now secular!).

The case still remains unsolved and conflict can break out anytime. This event proved once again:

1. not all foreigners are pro-HTS

2. there remains a radical faction that plans on using HTS’s pragmatism to form a caliphate
