The end-of-school-year exams and more particularly those relating to the evaluation of the achievements of students in the 5th year of primary school began this Sunday in the wilaya of Béjaïa in the same way as at the national level.
The students who took the test said that the tests were within their reach. The start of the 5 eventse primary year was, symbolically, given by the secretary general of the wilaya (representative of the wali), from the primary school of the martyrs “Bensaâdi Brothers”, located in the city of 400 housing units of Ihaddaden, commune of Béjaïa.
An establishment welcoming 1,403 students, 212 of whom are invited to take the 5th grade assessment exams.e year. The ceremony took place in the presence of a strong wilaya delegation made up of the president of the APW, the head of daïra of Béjaïa, the director of education and security authorities, among others.
The authorities supervised the start of this test, the conditions of organization and conduct of the exam, the reception conditions of the students as well as the atmosphere prevailing there. They also encouraged the students to move forward. “There are 20,343 students who have started to take these so-called achievement assessment compositions,” declared, on the occasion, the director of education Mr. Korchi Mohamed who indicated on the occasion, that “all the favorable conditions for the conduct of the examinations are met.
Note that a large part (approximately 95% or more) of the students of the 5e year will end up in first year average next year. These candidates are spread across 566 examination centers or schools located in the 52 municipalities of the wilaya. The test of the 5e year in its old version being canceled two years ago, these are compositions making it possible to confirm the level of the students, evaluate their achievements and the academic knowledge of the past five years of their schooling, calculate and divide the marks obtained with the two other quarters in order to assess their general averages to obtain the visa authorizing them to join the middle cycle.
“These tests should last only three days because the number of subjects has been reduced to 06 only, i.e. the essential subjects, at the rate of 02 exams per day,” it was emphasized. The 5th year students took the Arabic language and Islamic Education tests yesterday. “Tests within everyone’s reach”, according to the first impressions made by students.
