About 3.8 thousand prisoners are already serving in the Ukrainian Armed Forces
Roman Kostenko, secretary of the committee on national security, defense and intelligence, told Ukrayinska Pravda.
“3.8 thousand prisoners are already in the AFU. Most of them have recently completed their training. But among them there are already wounded and dead,” Kostenko said.
He estimated that the army will manage to recruit about 5,000 prisoners in total.
