🇷🇺🇾🇪According to the Wall Street Journal, Russian businessman Viktor Bout, who was released from prison in the United States about two years ago in a deal to free basketball player Brittany Greiner, is allegedly acting as a middleman in a deal to sell weapons from Russia to the Houthis in Yemen.

Houthi officials visited Russia in August to outline details of the deal, under the guise of a sale of pesticides and vehicles. The deal is expected to include AK-74s and possibly anti-tank and anti-aircraft missiles, and could be implemented in the coming days under the guise of delivering food to the port of Hodeidah.
