The French Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs proceeded, on August 19, to the publication of an opinion in the Official Journal of the French Republic relating to the suspension of the 2013 Algerian-French agreement relating to the exemption from visas for holders of diplomatic passports and service.
This opinion awards the Algerian party the responsibility of the suspension of the said agreement, indicating that Algeria has ceased to apply it from May 11, 2025.

Indeed, our source said that restrictions on access to French territory, imposed on Diplomatic Passports and Algerian service holders, were announced by the French party itself from last February.
