Algérie : Les Verts déçoivent mais se rapprochent du mondial – Le Jeune Indépendant

Algeria was hung by Guinea (0-0) this Monday, September 8 in Casablanca on behalf of the 7ᵉ day of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers.

Despite this disappointing draw against Guinea (0-0), the Greens are closer to the 2026 World Cup. The Fennecs are still at the top of the G group, now 4 points ahead of Uganda and the Mozambique two days before the end.

Riyad Mahrez’s teammates will compost their ticket if they earn at least one of their last two games against Somalia (October 6 in a place that remains to be determined) and against Uganda (October 13).

The Guineans, fourth in the hen, are very badly embarked.

As a reminder, the first groups qualify directly for the World Cup. The top four seconds will compete in the dams.
