The permanent representative of Algeria with the United Nations, Amar Bendjama, called on Sunday evening in New York, to impose sanctions on the Zionist entity which leads a savage aggression against the Gaza Strip and has just announced a plan to reoccupy Gaza-Ville.
“Algeria condemns with the greatest firmness the decision of the occupying power to move the entire population of the city of Gaza and the north of Gaza, and to impose a total military control,” said Amar Bendjama, during his intervention at an emergency meeting of the Security Council to discuss the decision of the Zionist entity to reoccupy Gaza.
“Gaza is faced with hell, she is in the hands of an occupying power that threatens international peace and security,” he said.
“As if Gaza was not already under occupation. As if Gaza was not already under an inhuman seat. These are war crimes and those who trace their plans with blood should not live in the shadow of impunity. Justice must call them by names, ”insurged Mr. Bendjama.
“After twenty-two months of forced trips, famine and ethnic cleaning”, the operation to move the population of the Palestinian enclave again “will not only ruin Ghaza, it will destroy what remains of it,” warned the representative of Algeria.
The list of martyrs, among them those of hunger, “is too long, too heavy, too dark to be summarized on a page. And yet, persistent in their genocidal tactics, the occupation authorities are continuing their plans, “he said.
Bendjama assured that their final objective was to “expel a whole people from their homeland” and to ensure that the Palestinians have “neither state, flag, nor future”.
He particularly wanted to draw attention to the fact that the Zionist entity did not respect international law and “laughed” from the Security Council. It acts with “brutality, cruelty and barbarism” with regard to the Palestinians. It orchestrates their massacres by all means by using, as instruments, famine, thirst, weapons and humiliation, he pointed out.
Amar Bendjama pointed out, however, that “all voices have risen” facing the current genocide in the Palestinian enclave. In this regard, he will mention the investigation by the International Court of Justice concerning “the plausible crime of genocide by occupying power”, also recalling that the International Criminal Court has launched arrest mandates against war crimes among Zionist officials. For its part, the UN General Assembly “repetitively condemns the occupation and demands its end, when the UN’s Human Rights Council counts the injuries and denounces each violation,” he added. Nevertheless, the Security Council “says nothing,” the diplomat was surprised. “Silence is not neutral. Silence kills, “he warned.
Bendjama urged the Security Council to “act decisively, resolved, resorting to its most powerful means” in the face of the crimes committed by the Zionist entity against the Palestinians.
“The time has come to impose sanctions, by hand which steals the earth, with the flag which floats on the ruins, to the enemy of humanity,” he concluded.
