The General Caliphate of the Tidjania brotherhood in Ain Madhi (Laghouat), Sheikh Ali Belarabi Tidjani, called on the Algerian people to participate massively in the presidential election scheduled for September 7 and to support the project of a new Algeria. This was indicated on Wednesday in a statement by the brotherhood.
The latter stressed the importance of this political deadline, calling on the Algerian people to “participate massively to give the winner all the constitutional legitimacy that would allow him to lead Algeria to safety.”
Sheikh Ali Belarabi Tidjani, according to the same source, affirms that he recognizes that the country is on the “right path” and that “its future is clearly outlined thanks to the achievements made and the decisions taken.” He continues, thus, that “Algeria has reconciled itself with its civilizational scope, its cultural legacy, its regional dimension and its internal geography”, this while drawing inspiration in this from the Declaration of November 1, 1954, this precious legacy of our valiant chouhadas, specifies the brotherhood.
He maintains that the country has been put on track with courage and deserves everything while hoping that there will be a continuation of the work accomplished. It is in this sense that the General Caliphate of the Tidjania brotherhood launches an appeal to “stay the course”.
The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, and the current leadership “have led the country to safety despite turbulence both internally and externally,” he said. He concluded by calling on all components of Algerian society to “support the project of a new Algeria and to participate massively in the presidential election of September 7, 2024 out of religious and civic duty, out of loyalty to the oath of the Chouhada and to ensure the future of the rising generations,” while recalling that “the last word will come back to the free and
sovereign”.
