The Minister of Energy and Mines, Mohamed Arkab, chaired, Tuesday in Algiers, a working and follow-up meeting with members of the National Commission for the Prevention and Control of Cancer, devoted to the presentation and examination of the role of nuclear techniques and applications in the medical field, said a press release from the ministry.
The meeting took place at the headquarters of the ministry, in the presence of the president of the National Commission, the Atomic Energy Commissioner and six (6) members of this commission installed by the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, on February 4, 2024 under Presidential Decree 24-65, as well as executives of the ministry and the Atomic Energy Commission, according to the press release.
