Arrest of an individual who broadcast a video damaging the image of the security services

The Security services of the wilaya of Algiers arrested an individual for contempt of a constituted body, and for having filmed a police station without judicial authorization and broadcasting the video on social networks, indicated this Tuesday a press release from the same services. “As part of the fight against crime in all its forms, the security services of the wilaya of Algiers, represented by the sixth Urban Security of Bourouba falling within the administrative district of El Harrach, arrested a suspect for contempt of a constituted body and damage to the image of the security services, and for having filmed a security siege without judicial authorization,” specifies the same press release. This case was triggered “following the dissemination, on social networks, of a video, in which the author utters insults against an established body and damages the image of the security services.
“The suspect was arrested and presented before the territorially competent judicial authorities, who placed him in pre-trial detention, for contempt of a constituted body and damage to the image of the security services, by broadcasting a video with images of a Security headquarters, filmed without judicial authorization”.
