Algerian jumper Yasser Mohamed Tahar Triki won a silver medal in the triple jump competition of the sixth stage of the 2024 Diamond League, contested Thursday evening in Oslo (Norway).

Several great champions will be at the start of the 800 m in Stockholm, notably, the American Bryce Hoppel (1:43.23), the Swede, Andreas Kramer (1:44.47), the Botswanan Masalela Tshepiso (1:43.88) and the Briton Jake Wightman (1:43.65). The Stockholm meeting is part of the preparatory program for the two Algerian internationals in anticipation of important international events to come, including the Paris 2024 Olympic Games (July 26-August 11). Gouaned is qualified there too.
