Attaf en visite en Autriche – Le Jeune Indépendant


Charged by the President of the Republic, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and the National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, went to Vienna (Austria) this Tuesday for an official visit.

The program of this visit has two main dimensions, namely the multilateral dimension which concerns relations between Algeria and the various international organizations based in Vienna, and the bilateral dimension concerns the economic partnership and political dialogue between Algeria and the Austria, said a press release from the Foreign Ministry.

In this context, Minister Ahmed Attaf is expected to meet with officials from the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), as well as the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty (CTBTO) Organization.

On a bilateral level, the minister will have a working session with his Austrian counterpart, Alexander Schallenberg. This session will be devoted to examining the means and prospects for strengthening cooperation and partnership relations between the two countries, in their different dimensions and components, as well as regional and international developments of common interest.
