The Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, was received this Monday in Seoul by the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, to whom he conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as well as his wishes for success for the work of the Africa-Korea Summit, indicated a press release from the ministry.
“As part of the working visit he is making to Korea, and on the occasion of a reception organized by the Korean authorities, the Minister of Foreign Affairs and National Community Abroad, Ahmed Attaf, was received by the President of the Republic of Korea, Yoon Suk-yeol, to whom he conveyed the greetings of the President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, as well as his wishes for success for the work of the Africa-Korea Summit,” reads -on in the press release.
The minister also held bilateral talks with his African counterparts, namely, the Nigerian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Tuggar, the Namibian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Peya Mushelenga, as well as with the manager of the Libyan minister of Foreign Affairs, Tahar Al-Baour, added the statement.
These talks focused on “the state of bilateral relations linking Algeria to these sister countries, and the prospects for their promotion to match the aspirations and ambitions of both parties.”
“Mr. Attaf also discussed with his counterparts coordination and consultation on regional and continental developments, in addition to preparations for upcoming events within the framework of the African Union (AU),” the press release concludes.
