In a relentless and irrefutable demonstration, Aymeric Caron, MP for Paris (18th constituency) and founder of the Ecological Revolution for the Living (REV), denounced, during an intervention at the National Assembly in the culture committee, the role of the French public audiovisual service in making the ongoing genocide in Gaza invisible.
The MP, rapporteur for opinion on the public broadcasting budget, detailed what he calls “a small domino of collusion” between influential journalists and defenders of Israel. Aymeric Caron notably cited the presence, on October 5, of Nathalie Saint-Cricq, star editorialist for France Télévisions, at a CRIF event, where she hosted a round table with Raphaël Enthoven, whom she presented as “her friend”. A few days later, the same journalist interviewed Enthoven on France Info TV about Gaza — without the slightest critical distance.
Aymeric Caron also mentioned Benjamin Duhamel, son of Nathalie Saint-Cricq, today at France Inter, who had also given an interview without contradiction to Joshua Zarka, Israeli ambassador to France, described by the deputy as the representative of a “rogue state”. According to him, these links illustrate the drift of a public service that has become a relay of the Israeli narrative, to the detriment of Palestinian victims: “The voice of the rogue state of Israel was vigorously carried on public broadcasting, while that of Palestinian children was deliberately stifled. » And to conclude: “It is a bankruptcy for France Télévisions and Radio France, who first made invisible, then denied, then minimized the genocide of the Palestinians in Gaza. »n
