Abdelmadjid Tebboune in Tizi Ouzou
The President of the Republic, Mr. Abdelmadjid Tebboune, made, yesterday Wednesday, a working and inspection visit to the wilaya of Tizi Ouzou. A very warm popular welcome was reserved for the Head of State by personalities and citizens of Tizi Ouzou, during his working and inspection visit to this wilaya. The main arteries of the city of Tizi Ouzou saw a large crowd of citizens brandishing the national emblem and placards welcoming the President of the Republic and saluting his interest in development in this wilaya. Many citizens, coming from the different communes of the wilaya, gathered along the main arteries to greet the President of the Republic.
Upon his arrival in the city of Genêts, Abdelmadjid Tebboune, accompanied by the Chief of Staff of the National People’s Army (ANP), Army General Saïd Chanegriha, was welcomed by local civil and military authorities, headed by the Wali of Tizi Ouzou, Djilali Doumi, in the presence of a large crowd who came to greet him at the western entrance to the city of Genêts.
The Head of State listened to the national anthem and reviewed detachments of the different ANP forces which paid him honors.
At the start of his working and inspection visit which aims to continue the construction and development process, to quote a journalist from national television, Abdelmadjid Tebboune proceeded to the inauguration of the new stadium named after the mujahid Hocine Ait Ahmed.
Located at the Oued Fali center of excellence, at the western exit of the city of Tizi Ouzou, this 50,000-seat stadium, integrated into a project for an Olympic multi-sports complex comprising, in addition to this infrastructure, a 6,500-seat athletics stadium, a replica field in natural grass and a parking lot with a capacity of 3,800 spaces, will allow the most successful club in Algeria, Jeunesse sportive de Kabylie (JSK), to play in a modern structure worthy of its rank and meeting international standards. Everything has been studied so that this architectural jewel in the colors of the JSK, the main structure of the Complex, meets the necessary conditions for the running of matches, access for supporters, media coverage and the comfort of players and the public.
The stadium has several access routes, including towards the RN 12, the North ring road and the Bouïde interchange, in order to facilitate the exit of supporters at the end of the match and avoid congestion. But also a centralized technical management system (SGTC) which will ensure its proper functionality.
This system is intended to manage, among other things, video projection and remote surveillance, the air conditioning system and the 400 projectors.
On the premises, the President of the Republic walked the grounds of this sports venue, an architectural gem, and greeted the former players of JS Kabylie and followed a comprehensive presentation on the major development projects in the wilaya of Tizi-Ouzou. In particular, the project to build the East-West motorway from Draa Ben-Khedda to Tizi Ouzou, on Djebahia in the wilaya of Bouira, with a length of 48 km in 2×3 lanes and secondary roads of 26 km (reestablishments) is endowed, after several reassessments, with a total budget of 8,834,540,000 DA after having been initially estimated at 1,958,540,000 DA, also including 8 interchanges, 26 engineering structures, 23 viaducts and three tunnels.
Heading towards the city centre, the Head of State, at the height of Said Amirouche Boulevard, at the entrance to the city, left his vehicle to greet the crowd that gathered on both sides of the road along this boulevard leading to the city centre of Tizi Ouzou. Talking with many citizens, who expressed their pride in this visit and their full support for his efforts in favour of the development, growth and prosperity of the country, not without welcoming the commitments made by the President of the Republic, particularly with regard to preserving the social character of the State and carrying out important vital projects in various sectors serving the country and its citizens.
