Bank BEA opens 3 bank branches in France

The External Bank of Algeria (BEA) announced, Thursday, the inauguration of its first 100% subsidiary in France, through three branches, as part of its international expansion strategy, a step described as historic by the public bank. “We are proud to announce the official inauguration of our first 100% BEA subsidiary in France, in Marseille, Saint-Denis and Courcelle. A major milestone in our international expansion strategy,” the Bank said in a press release.
The official inauguration ceremony took place in the presence of the Chairman of the BEA Board of Directors, El Hadi Soltani, its interim Director General, Belala Mounir, the Director General of BEA International, Labbou Liamine, and members of its Board of Directors, as well as numerous executives, partners and members of the Algerian community.
This opening “marks a new dynamic for the BEA”, underlined Mr. Belala, quoted in the press release, describing the event as “a historic moment for our institution and a decisive step in our international development”.
BEA, the leading bank in Algeria and ranked in 2025 among the top 10 African banks, “continues its mission to support growth and offer innovative solutions to its clients,” he maintained, recalling that the growth of the Bank “rests on the trust of its clients, the competence of its teams and its ability to anticipate transformations in the sector.” “The opening of this subsidiary responds to a real need: to offer investors and foreign trade players a local banking contact, capable of understanding their expectations and responding to them effectively,” he underlined, expressing his gratitude to all the teams and partners. “Their commitment and dedication helped turn a vision into reality.
