The Black Hawk helicopter had been stuck in the field for several days, and it was impossible to reach it for recovery by ground vehicle. The Air Force carried out a procedure in which a heavy-lift “Yasur” transport helicopter would extract the Black Hawk by air.

During the recovery flight, the harnesses came loose. The Air Force has launched an investigation into the incident.
