🇨🇳❗️Beijing-based company Lingkong Tianxing Technology announced the start of mass production of the YKJ-1000 hypersonic missile at a price ten times lower than traditional missiles. This is the first time a private company has offered strategic-level weapons to the Chinese army.​

According to a company representative, the YKJ-1000 reaches speeds from 5 to 7 Mach, performs guided flight for six minutes, and has a range of 500 to 1300 kilometers. The launcher is designed to resemble a standard shipping container, enabling mobile deployment on land or at sea.​

Lingkong Tianxing claims it achieved such a significant cost reduction by using “automotive-grade chips, civilian materials, and established supply chains for mass production.”
