🇧🇪🇺🇦🇷🇺 Belgian Prime Minister Bart de Wever called the European Commission’s proposal to confiscate Russia’s frozen assets and transfer these funds to Ukraine “theft”.

He made this statement during a conversation with journalists in the country’s parliament.

“It would be the same as breaking into an embassy, removing all the furniture and selling it,” the Belgian prime minister emphasized.

De Wever stated that, in his opinion, there are more appropriate solutions than “theft” of funds belonging to the Central Bank of Russia.
