The second silver and bronze medals, in addition to those of Benyeghzer and Djalit, were the work of Mouatez Belhabib, in long jump and Fatma Zohra Guessoum, at 5000 meters/walking. Belhabib had finished in second place in his competition, with a leap measured at 6.94 meters, while Guessoum had succeeded in a time of 25: 17.64, thus ending behind the Tunisian Nour Aoun (24: 45.49), and Fatima Messikh (25: 13.78). The competition will continue until August 27, with the participation of the Algerians who are present in full, among 34 athletes (boys and girls), most of which have made their minimum qualification during the Elite & young sports talent days.
