Biélorussie : Vers la création d’un Conseil d’affaires bilatéral – Le Jeune Indépendant


The Algerian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACI) and its Belarusian counterpart have agreed on the creation of an Algerian-Belarusian Business Council, which will be officially established on the sidelines of the economic forum planned during the visit to Algeria of the President of the Republic of Belarus next December.

This initiative, the result of a meeting between the President of the CACI, Tayeb Chebab, and the Vice-President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Belarus, Helen Malinowskaya, aims to consolidate economic and commercial relations between the two countries and to open up new investment prospects within the framework of a win-win partnership.

According to a CACI press release, the meeting was held on Thursday, in the presence of the secretary general of the CACI, Abdelmadjid Tabbech, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Boumerdès, Rabah Charef, and the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Algiers, Mohamed Zeghba, alongside several CACI executives.

The discussions focused on ways to develop bilateral cooperation and promote exchanges in different sectors of common interest, reflecting the shared desire of the two institutions to intensify economic partnerships between Algeria and Belarus.

Algeria and Belarus maintain dynamic economic cooperation marked by several joint projects currently in preparation. According to the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, Maxim Ryzhenkov, the Belarusian side is working closely with different ministerial departments of the Algerian government in order to realize these initiatives, which cover various strategic sectors of mutual interest.
