Border Police report that officers fatally shot a wanted Arab terrorist during an operation in the town of Meithalun, near Jenin.

In coordination with the IDF and Shin Bet, undercover Border Police officers attempted to apprehend Hassan Rabia’a, who is involved in terrorist activities. Rabia’a opened fire while attempting to escape, prompting officers to shoot and kill him.

Police say two handguns were found on Rabia’a’s body. At his home, forces discovered a hunting rifle, pipe bombs, gun components, and NIS 96,000 in cash. The IDF adds that an explosives manufacturing lab was uncovered on the property and destroyed.
