The number of victims of the falling bus from a passenger bus in the wadi El Harrach, after giving up a bridge on Friday, increased to 18 dead and 9 injured, the Director of Statistics and Information at the General Directorate of Civil Protection, Commander Nassim Bernaoui, told the APS.
Commander Bernaoui said two of the injured, in critical state, were taken care of at the scene before being evacuated to the local hospital, while the remains of the deceased were transferred to the morgue of the same establishment.
