An Israeli civilian pulled the Military Advocate General Yifat Tomer-Yerushalmi’s phone from the water off a beach near Herzliya. The device was half-charged and water-exposed; police seized it on the spot and are treating it as hers while forensics begin.
Why this matters: the handset sits at the center of the Sde Teiman leak probe. Police and ZAKA divers had been sweeping the coastline for days on the assessment it was tossed to sea; if data is recoverable, this could be the break investigators needed.
